Providing crisis relief, combating poverty and fostering hope for a brighter future for the Karenni people of Myanmar.
Karenni Community UK provides humanitarian assistance at times of crisis and also assists local communities to promote positive change to tackle root causes and support development.
We work directly with local communities and grass root organisations to maximise out impact and ensure support goes directly to those communities who need it most.
Since the military coup on 1st February 2021, we have provided emergency aid for thousands of displaced people in remote parts of Karenni State who are fleeing attacks by the Burmese military.

The Situation in Karenni
Over a quarter of a million people in Karenni have been displaced by conflict. Living conditions in temporary camps are often dire with a shortage of food, drinking water and sanitary items.
