On Friday 28 March  Myanmar was struck by a massive 7.7 magnitude earthquake levelling  buildings, roads, hospitals, bridges and other infrastructure. The quake was shallow, at a depth of just 10km with the epicentre near the central city of Mandalay which has suffered extensive damaged.
